Chock full of color panes and grey-scale illustrations of anatomy, medical conditions, and everyday mid-century life. It is surprisingly au currant regarding the gross anatomy and classification of diseases. There is some quaint advice peppered throughout. Sexuality is discussed specifically through the lenses of “marriage”. However, masturbation, is discussed frankly and normalized. There are plenty of images to potentially take out and frame or use for upcycling or artistic ‘paper ephemera’ purposes. Or the book could be added to an existing vintage library if desired.
