The full title is The American Machinist Shop Note Book: A Collection of Articles, Written for the American Machinist by Practical Men, Covering a Wide Variety of Machine Shop Activities and Giving the Solutions of Problems That Have Arisen in Machine Shops the World Over and would look good on anyone's shelf.  It is always interesting to see how things used to be done. Even reprints of this book are valuable.
